We lived next door to Barry and Sheila for 6 years in Croydon. We were devastated to find out that Barry had passed away. He was a fabulous man. Funny, caring and kind. He was also cool (when he wasn’t wearing his white overalls without his teeth in). I remember a time when he got his Corsa and stuck boy racer stickers on it. He took great delight in telling me his nephew had said “Uncle B, you’ve got a bird-puller”. Belated condolences to the family.
